Windows on the World Travelogues Presents ‘Biblical Treasures of Turkey’

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Johnson County Community College presents the film Biblical Treasures of Turkey at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, in Yardley Hall of the Carlsen Center as part of Windows on the World Travelogues.

Travel filmmaker Robin Williams takes viewers through the biblical sites of the first century A.D. The film travels the Roman world of St. Paul, St. John and the seven churches of Asia and visits Antioch, Seleucia, Tarsus, Cappadocia, Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum and Troy.

Travelogues feature in-person narration by a leader in the travel-film industry. Refreshments are served at intermission. All programs begin at 2 p.m. in the Carlsen Center and continue on the following dates:

• Feb. 27, 2007    
Silk Road Odyssey – Beijing to the Black Sea
• March 6, 2007    
The Other Side of Mexico
• April 3, 2007    
Natural Wonders of the Northeast Coast: Virginia Beach to Maine
