JCCC Class Co-sponsors Film on 9/11
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Johnson County Community College class, American Government and Global Terrorism, and the Unity Coalition for Israel are co-sponsoring the Midwest film premiere of Obsession: Radical Islam’s War Against the West at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, in the Craig Auditorium, JCCC.
In addition to the film, Frank J. Gaffney Jr., president and CEO, The Center for Security Policy, will speak. The Center for Security Policy is a not-for-profit, non-partisan educational corporation recognized as a resource for timely and informed analyses of foreign and defense policy matters. Gaffney is the lead author of War Footing: Ten Steps America Must Take to Prevail in the War for the Free World. He also contributes actively to the security policy debate in his capacity as a weekly columnist for the Washington Times, TownHall.com and JewishWorldReview.com. Gaffney served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear Forces and Arms Control Policy during the Reagan Administration. Over the years, his op-ed articles have appeared in such publications as The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The New Republic, The Washington Post and The New York Times.
A question-and-answer period follows Gaffney’s presentation and the film.
