Do I need a new CavCard every year?CavCards expire one year from the date of issuance and/or reload. Once the expiration date has passed, balances will be subject to a monthly $10.00 maintenance fee. What if my CavCard has been lost, stolen, or damaged?Lost, stolen, or damaged cards must be reported to (913) 469-8500, x4537 or x3273. Any remaining balances can be transferred to a new CavCard. CavCard personnel will give you information on how to receive a replacement card with any existing balance transferred from the lost/stolen/damaged card. The CavCard office is not responsible for any transactions prior to the card being reported as stolen. Does the CavCard have any fees?There are no set-up fees, monthly charges, or membership dues. Once the card expires, remaining balances will be subject to a monthly $10.00 maintenance fee.
