Many of the resources needed to complete or teach an online course will be the same.    The following links will provide a starting point for support of Distance Learning at JCCC.

Student Support
The Student Technical Support Page provides the initial contact point for faculty, staff and students needing technical support for JCCC account access and distance learning support.

Orientation Dates & Times
If you're new to Online Learning, we strongly urge you to attend one of the Distance Learning Orientation sessions.

Browser Plugins
Use the Browser Links to find Plugins for your online classroom.

JCCC Bookstore
You can access the JCCC Bookstore online and order textbooks, if needed.

Ask-a-Librarian
Email, chat or call the Billington Library to ask a question.

Counseling and Advising Services
E-mail a question to a counselor at advise@jccc.edu  or call 913-469-3803 for information that will help as you select your classes and assist in decisions regarding enrollment and transfer.

Online Writing Lab
The Writing Center is starting a new initiative specifically targeted to distance learners.  Because distance learning students do not come on campus for class, having to come on campus for feedback or help with development of their papers seems wrong. 

Resources for Faculty
JCCC has a wealth of resources available for faculty who are currently teaching online or have an interest in using many of the online tools to supplement an existing course.  We also have the services of the Educational Technology Center and the Distance Learning  Mentor to assist in design and pedagogical questions about online teaching and learning.
