Cavaliers Fourth at Swede Invitational
  
OVERLAND PARK, KS -- The Johnson County Community College golf team recently posted a fourth-place finish at the Swede Invitational.  Participants played one round at Turkey Creek in McPherson, Kan., and one round at Elks Country Club in Salina, Kan.  JCCC fired a two-day total of 619, 26 strokes off the pace set by host Bethany College.

Two members of the JCCC golf team earned medalist honors, placing among the top-10 in the field.  Freshmen Matt Salome and Mike Cuchinski each fired 36-hole scores of 150.  Salome opened with a 79, and followed with a tournament-best round of 71.  Cuchinski posted back-to-back rounds of 75.
