JCCC Sweeps Labette

The Cavaliers slugged their way to victory in game one 10-2. Justin Miller, Brad Lewandowski, Nick Giuliani each collected two hits in the game leading the attack. Travis Blankenship pitched his first complete game of the year, allowing one earned run and no walks in his seven innings of work.

JCCC took game two 6-3 behind fine pitching performances from Dustin Holthaus, Nate Templeton, and Justin Miller. The Cavaliers pitching staff shut down Labette in game two allowing only 3 hits in the game. Dustin Holthaus improved his record to 2-0 while Justin Miller picked up his 4th save on the year.

The Cavaliers improve their conference record to 4-4 and 9-8 overall. They will take on KCK in conference play on Friday, March 23 at 1:00 at home.
