Why join the Friends of the Carlsen Center?

Contrary to popular belief, tax revenues support only the academic side of JCCC’s programs, while ticket sales cover only a portion of costs. Friends membership revenue underwrites the direct costs of presenting professional performing arts events, including artists fees and production expenses. Private donations from people like you bridge the gap, keeping ticket prices low and making it possible to continue bringing great artists to the stages in the Carlsen Center.

Patron Level $50 to $99 (Student $20)

• 5% additional discount on subscription tickets
• Advance purchase of single tickets seven days before the general public
• Ticket exchange for any event you cannot attend (up to 48 hours in advance)
• Invitations to Friends' hospitality room during intermission at selected performances
• Invitations to receptions and discussions with artists
• Recognition in Carlsen Center programs
• Subscription to Places, the Carlsen Center newsletter
• Advance notice of added performances
• Performing Arts Cooperative Discount Card

Director Level $100 to $249

• Priority on any Carlsen Center waiting list
• Recognition on the donor board in Carlsen Center lobby

Yardley Level $250 to $499

• Advance purchase of single tickets (10) days before the general public
• All Director Level benefits

President Level $500 to $999

• 15% discount on any single ticket purchase
• One complimentary Patron Level membership for anyone you designate
• Backstage tour for you and your guests (arrange in advance)
• All Yardley Level benefits

Underwriter $1,000 to $4,999

• Priority for Carlsen Center season subscriptions and seat selection
• All Carlsen Level benefits
