Spirit Horse is based on an authentic Sioux Nation ideology, but it reflects the universal experience of any new family where parents or grandparents come from another tradition and their children find themselves caught between two worlds. This beautiful story shares the magic of traditional ways and reconnects roots with heritage.

The performance is accompanied by live musicians performing on the fiddle, accordion, drum and whistle.

This Canadian adaptation is by award-winning First Nations playwright Drew Hayden Taylor.
