Find out how classical mythology is depicted in contemporary culture and have food and fun, too! Students showcase projects they’ve created in an interactive format.

This exhibition displays the final projects from HUM 156, Contemporary Approaches to World Mythology, a Humanities course that frames world mythology around contemporary culture.

Wander through exhibits as students explain their topics, often in costume or with posters and props. Participate in games the students have created, and enjoy some free refreshments. Admission is free, and you can come and go as you please.

Topics this semester include:

  • Disney in Myth
  • Thor
  • Destiny
  • Stephen King’s “It”
  • Assassin’s Creed
  • Egypt
  • Night Vale
  • Supernatural
  • Transformers
